From general medicine to acupuncture:

After 30 years of general practice in Aubonne, after training in manual medicine and faced with the many therapeutic challenges posed by pain, functional and anxiety disorders, post-menopausal and post-traumatic disorders, I needed another complementary approach, which I found in TCM and in particular in acupuncture.

After 3 years' training in Geneva (AGMAR) and post-graduate training in Paris (Dr Sionneau and Dr Alimi), I practice two afternoons a week alongside my general medical consultation. Acupuncture is part of traditional Chinese medicine. It involves stimulating very precise points on the body, most often using fine needles, but also massage, heat, laser light and even vacuum cupping.

I also practice auriculotherapy, a treatment method that uses the reflex properties of the auricle. In 1991, the WHO standardized 43 auricular points.

These points are reflex points that become painful in the event of somatic pathology, thanks to their relationship to the spino-thalamic and reticular systems.

They are treated with simple needles left on for 20-30 minutes, or with ASP, a small implant that remains on the ear for a few days.

Indications range from pain, functional disorders, dependency disorders, mild psychological disorders to dermatological disorders.
