Acupuncture and pharmacopoeia are two major pillars of traditional Chinese medicine. Acupuncture is a technique involving the insertion of fine needles at specific points along the meridians, in order to restore pathological dysfunctions.

Pharmacopoeia is made up of substances of plant, mineral and animal origin, and can be prescribed to support acupuncture treatment. These prescriptions may be taken in powder, drop or capsule form, depending on the patient's needs,

Pharmacopoeia prescriptions come from Swiss laboratories, and are generally reimbursed by your supplementary health insurance.

The consultation

A consultation lasts about an hour and is by appointment only. The consultation consists in establishing a relevant and precise diagnosis in order to determine a syndrome and, finally, lead us to a treatment principle to treat the patient's pathology.

Taking the pulse, observing the tongue and the patient, palpation and collecting signs and symptoms are essential to the diagnosis.

The needles used are sterile and disposable.
