ACAMED is an outpatient medical institution recognized by the Health Directorate and operates as a practice network several interdisciplinary group practices in the Canton of Zurich. ACAMED is a company founded by physicians with the goal of creating an innovative form of operation that meets the needs of patients, employees, and all other partners in the health care system in the area of primary care.

The vision is to ensure and optimize basic medical care through close, interdisciplinary cooperation between physicians and therapists from different disciplines in order to provide all patients with uncomplicated, high-quality, competent and cost-efficient care.

We value high quality, patient-centered medicine with holistic, personalized care based on the latest research findings, but also taking into account the bio-psycho-social environment. We also place emphasis on cost-conscious family medicine with efficient processes, a wide range of medical services in a modern infrastructure in order to be able to clarify and treat the majority of health concerns as far as possible within the practice, as well as on trusting partnerships with other service providers in the healthcare sector, be they doctors, therapists, hospitals, social services or insurance companies. Security is provided not only by the internal and external quality controls and the professional exchange at the internal case discussions, in regular further training and inter-practice quality circles, but also by the central electronic documentation of the medical history. In everyday practice, ACAMED relieves physicians and practice assistants of administrative work, so that the employees of the medical practices can devote more time to patient care. We are convinced that this will result in a sustainable plus for the health of the population.
