My name is Renate Mohler. I have a Bachelor's degree in Acupuncture with highest honors (BSc Hons) from the University of Portsmouth in England. In addition to classical acupuncture, I am trained in pediatric acupuncture and acupuncture for women's health. I was also trained in facial rejuvenating acupuncture by Virginia Doran in London - a treatment method also known as cosmetic acupuncture. Apart from this, I have training in Japanese pediatric acupuncture from a course taught by Dr. Stephen Birch (PhD).

I am registered with most health insurance companies in Switzerland. With additional insurance, you can be reimbursed from 70% to 90% of the treatment costs, depending on your insurance situation. I am an overseas member of the British Acupuncture Council (BAcC) and a member of the Swiss Professional Organization for Traditional Chinese Medicine (SBO-TCM).

Pediatric Acupuncture A special and particularly gentle Japanese acupuncture procedure called Shonishin is used to treat children. This is a non-invasive treatment method that stimulates the skin on the arms, legs, head and neck through gentle tapping and rubbing as well as stroking movements. This gentle form of therapy helps relieve symptoms, works on the child's overall constitution and builds the immune system.
