Jost Franz (Lugano)

I studied medicine in Basel and graduated in 1961. Since 1967 I have been running a FMH general internal medicine practice in Lugano. Already during my studies I was interested in traditional Chinese medicine and began training. In the first years here I opened the practice, practicing, I became more and more convinced that the best method to treat patients from their diseases was energetic diagnosis and treatment with auriculomedicine alone (auricular acupuncture) or their combination with traditional Chinese acupuncture. The patient's energetics determine my examination process. I make an energetic diagnosis and also according to university medicine. I treat with needles on the ear and body, while for pain-sensitive people or children I treat them with colored points without needles. I use homeopathy and supplements as support if necessary. All this goes perfectly with conventional medicine, Even with difficult cases where conventional medicine reaches its limits with my methodology I manage to overcome them. This is my favorite challenge. My strengths are in treating gastrointestinal conditions related to food intolerances, allergies, intoxications, immunity problems and other problems.
