Therapy procedure

At the start of each therapy session, there is a personal conversation, followed by a tongue and pulse diagnosis. On the basis of the conclusions that can be drawn from the conversation and the two traditional Chinese diagnostic methods, the therapists establish an up-to-date diagnosis and decide accordingly on the treatment methods they deem necessary and appropriate.

Acupuncture is at the heart of every treatment, but depending on the diagnosis, it is often combined with other methods such as cupping or electro-acupuncture.

Treatments are generally carried out lying down, on the stomach or on the back, and usually last 45 to 60 minutes.

The duration of the entire therapy is determined by the therapists at the start of the treatment, taking into account the severity and nature of your complaints. In general, chronic complaints or illnesses require a longer treatment time than acute ones. Depending on the symptoms, lasting improvement can be achieved after just two to five sessions, while in other cases a longer treatment cycle of up to twelve sessions is required. Treatments generally need to be repeated at weekly intervals.

To avoid any possible discomfort, we recommend that you do not attend treatment on an empty stomach.
