I have been working in the health care sector since 1994. After working as a medical practice assistant in a general and pediatric practice, I completed my training as a nurse at the University of Applied Sciences in Finland and subsequently worked in the intensive care unit at the University Hospital in Helsinki. From October 2002 to March 2009, I worked in internal medicine at the Triemli Hospital. Following my four-year training in Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM), I completed various internships in Switzerland and abroad. Since then I have been continuously educating myself, for example in Chinese Herbal Medicine (May 2011 to July 2013).

I started my work as an independent therapist for Traditional Chinese Medicine in April 2008. Since July 2011 I have been working in the Zurich-City group practice in Zurich-Enge.

Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) is a comprehensive system of medicine that originated in China over the last 2500 years.

In TCM, the health of every human being depends on a balance between the opposing forces of Yin and Yang. As long as yin and yang remain in balance, the body and mind are healthy. However, if one of the forces becomes excessively strong or too weak, it leads to imbalance and illness.

With the help of anamnesis, tongue and pulse diagnosis, I try to determine the imbalance of energies in the body. Through the various forms of therapy such as acupuncture, nutrition, moxibustion, herbal medicine and cupping, the body is stimulated to restore the balance and thus alleviate or even cure complaints.

Based on the Chinese diagnosis, I will create an individual treatment concept for you, whereby the above-mentioned therapies can be applied.

The cost coverage of the therapy by the health insurance depends on the benefits of your supplementary insurance. Please inquire directly with your health insurance.
