Specialty Fertility disorders When childbearing just won't work, many couples turn to a gynecologist. However, more and more couples are turning to a practice for traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) as an alternative - with success. In 2015, Carmen Rieder completed additional training, earning the title of "Specialist in TCM Reproductive Medicine". A training that deals with the special field of infertility - from the perspective of Chinese medicine, as well as from the perspective of conventional medicine. In the meantime, there is also a cooperation with the fertility clinic at the Fontana Hospital in Chur.

Treatment goals and methods In a consultation, the individual goals are defined and the treatment methods are adapted to the respective patient. In addition to the above-mentioned applications, moxa cigars or cupping glasses can also be used in TCM treatment.

Duration of treatment Realistic is a treatment duration of six months on average. At the beginning, acupuncture is performed once a week. Almost always, women are also given specific herbal mixtures to optimize the therapy. TCM can also be used concomitantly with hormone therapy or artificial insemination.
