What is TCM? Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) is based on a holistic system of medicine. The human being is seen not only as a physical being, but as a whole. Equal attention is paid to the body, the soul and the spirit. Holistic means that with the help of TCM therapy not only the symptoms can be treated, but also the cause is treated. Above all, the immune system is strengthened and thus the self-healing powers are activated.

I offer the following therapy applications of Traditional Chinese Medicine: -Acupuncture Acupuncture needles are used to stimulate specific points located on so-called pathways throughout the body. Thereby an energetic imbalance, which leads to complaints and illnesses, is balanced again.

-Ohacupuncture The acupuncture needles are inserted only in the ear. The ear reflects the organs of the entire body. Therefore, complaints of the internal organs can be specifically balanced. The advantage over body acupuncture is that the desired effect usually occurs more quickly. This is due to the fact that by means of ear acupuncture the impulses reach the target organ directly via the brain.

-Moxa The heat is pleasantly felt on the skin and penetrates through the skin pores into the depth of the body. The heat activates the blood flow. The blood and the bodily fluids can flow more smoothly and thus reach the cells better.

-Cupping For this purpose, so-called cupping glasses are placed directly on the skin. A vacuum is created on the skin by means of an air pump. This causes the glasses to adhere to the skin. The suction causes the blood to circulate towards the surface of the skin. This becomes visible by the change of the skin color, it becomes more reddish. Sometimes a hematoma (bruise) is created on purpose, the skin color can be slightly bluish for several days where the glasses were placed.
