Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) is a medical system, recognized by the World Health Organization (WHO) developed in the East 2,500 years ago. TCM prevents and treats diseases like Western medicine, but from a different point of view; it evaluates the symptom as the manifestation of an energy imbalance.

The application of TCM involves a diagnostic and a therapeutic phase. Diagnosis requires a thorough interview with the patient and a clinical examination including pulse and tongue examination. Once the patient's diagnostic framework is defined, the various methods of therapy are set up, which include:

acupuncture, which involves the use of very thin needles of different lengths that are inserted into one of 360 or more points depending on the effect to be achieved and maintained for about 30 minutes. phytotherapy, which involves the use of both Chinese and domestic herbs, mixed in various ways, such as infusions, decoctions or more simply in the form of granules or capsules. dietetics, which is part of therapy since it is possible to act and support our body's health with food. moxibustion, which involves heating skin areas, overlying acupuncture points or energy pathways, in order to achieve resolution of a pathological event cupping, which stimulates points by laying over glass cups in which a vacuum is made. tuina, a massage technique useful as an adjunct to therapies, especially in problems of the musculoskeletal system and in children. The clinic can be accessed by both outpatients, by appointment, and inpatients in the hospital, when requested by the doctor treating the patient.
