Wegmüller Antoine (Lausanne)

In addition to Western medicine, there are several other types of medicine, such as Chinese medicine. This is based on the principle of energy, and is founded on the Yin Yang principle. Antoine Wegmüller is a practitioner of Chinese medicine.

From 1995 to 2001, he underwent basic training at the Guang Ming Institute of Traditional Chinese Medicine with Pierre Sterckx and Chen Jun. He holds a degree in pharmacopoeia. Since 1995, he has completed clinical internships at hospitals in Nanchang, Beijing, Changchun, Kunming and Nanjing.

In 2006, he undertook further training at the Jinling Institute with Professor Amad Maholida. He has also taken further training at the Institut CHU Zhen in Paris, a pharmacopoeia clinic. He took a postgraduate course at Nanjing University, gaining a Master's degree in 2009.

He is recognized by the Complementary Medicine Foundation and the Swiss Register of Empirical Medicine.

He set up a Chinese medicine practice in Lausanne with Janine Fleury in Switzerland. He has 10 years' practice under his belt. His methods in Chinese medicine are Chinese medicine, pharmacopoeia and dietetics. He specializes in internal medicine, general gynecology and fertility support. His practice offers training programs in Chinese medicine to help practitioners update their knowledge.

He is also a practitioner member of "Swissacupuncture". This is an organization whose aim is to pass on knowledge. To this end, it offers courses, seminars and conferences led by experienced teachers and practitioners.
