TCM can be used for many diseases and complaints as a sole therapy or in combination with conventional medicine or other forms of therapy.

Traditional Chinese Medicine sees itself as a holistic medicine and that is where its strength lies. However, often the symptomatic treatment of complaints already brings good results. In each case it is necessary to decide on which level the therapy should take place.

Acupuncture

In acupuncture, specific points on meridians are needled. This can regulate the life energy (Qi), which affects the body, mind and psyche in many different ways.

Tuina massage

This is a combination of various massage techniques and acupressure. Tuina is not only suitable for releasing tense muscles, but also treats internal diseases. Tuina is also suitable as a wellness application.

TCM Herbal Therapy

Traditional Chinese herbal therapy is mainly used for internal diseases and for empty states of energy, blood, yin and yang. It is taken in the form of drops or powder for mixing or externally as an ointment.

Cupping

In cupping, glasses are placed over muscles or joints, which causes irritation of the skin and increased blood flow to the affected area of the body. The vacuum is created by means of heat or with the help of suction pumps. A variant of cupping is cupping massage.

Heat

Moxa: By burning moxa cigars, burning moxa herb on needles or lngwer discs, the acupuncture points/energy zones are stimulated and warmed.

Warm cupping massage: By continuously applying and lifting bamboo cuppers over the muscles by means of a flame, a pleasant feeling of warmth is created in the treated muscle areas.

Consultation

On the one hand, consultation means nutritional advice according to Chinese medicine. On the other hand, counseling means talking about one's own life circumstances, wishes, difficulties, behavior and relationship patterns. Acupuncture in particular can help to bring about a change of direction and to better access one's own resources.
