ACUPUNCTURE "Needle pricks" at acupuncture points along the meridians (pathways) through which 'Qi' (life energy) flows. By means of stimulation or inhibition (through the acupuncturist's technique), the flow of energy and thus the body's functions can be brought into balance.

MOXIBUSTION Moxibustion is a method of regulating qi by means of heat and herbs through the glowing of pressed mugwort leaves. This method has been around since the beginning of TCM and is often combined with acupuncture. The therapy is possible with moxa cigars, moxa needles, moxa cones or moxa patches.

Cupping CUPING Glass balls are heated and placed on the skin. By cooling down, a vacuum is created, which produces a strong suction stimulus. This region of the skin is thus supplied with more blood and disease-causing factors can be drained from the body.
