Having grown up in a family of doctors in China, I've always been fascinated by this wonderful system. After studying for five years at the University of Traditional Chinese Medicine in Changchun, I worked for five years as a doctor in a hospital in China. When I arrived in Switzerland in 1999, I was able to continue my medical activities. This gave me the great joy of being able to share my knowledge with my many patients.

My Chinese diplomas have been validated by the Swiss Red Cross, and I am recognized by the State Secretariat for Education, Research and Innovation (SEFRI) and entered in the National Register of Health Professions (NAREG). Diagnosis in traditional Chinese medicine.

Before any treatment can be carried out, a diagnosis must be made. Traditional Chinese medicine uses four methods: Diagnosis by looking: This involves careful observation of the patient's tongue, hands, face, nails, skin and morphology, as well as the way he or she moves and moves about. Diagnosis by questioning: This involves asking the patient about his or her state of health and history. Diagnosis by listening: It's not only necessary to listen carefully to the patient's answers, but also to take note of tone of voice, breathing, body sounds and so on. Diagnosis by touch: By taking the patient's pulse and, if necessary, palpating the body. Traditional Chinese medicine diagnoses are essentially based on Yin and Yang and the theory of the five elements. Once a diagnosis has been made, the different types of treatment are: acupuncture, phytotherapy, moxibustion, cupping, An-Mo/Tui-Na or auricular acupuncture. In most cases, acupuncture and/or phytotherapy will be used. The number of treatments required will depend on the individual - some people feel the benefits of treatment very quickly, others may need treatment over several months. As a general rule, patients are recommended to start with one or two treatments a week.
