Vanessa Piazza is an ethnomethodologist, acupuncturist, teacher and international lecturer on the Energetic Body Arts (qigong, taijiquan, yoga). She graduated from the Fédération Européenne de Qi Gong et Arts Energétiques (FEQGAE in 2002) and has been teaching since 1997, in France and abroad. She has studied various medical disciplines, including immunology, clinical chemistry, microbiology, haematology and histology, as well as several massage techniques, including foot reflexology, metamorphic massage, chromotherapy and aromatherapy. In 1993, she began learning energy techniques through "Tao Dance" with Catherine Eggler (in Switzerland) and "Healing Tao" as taught by Mantak Chia.

In 2006, she obtained a Diplôme d'Etudes Supérieures Spécialisées (DESS) from the University of Paris 8 for her work on ethnomethodological analysis of energetic body arts, and in 2010, the Diplôme d'Etat from the French Ministry of Youth and Sport. Since obtaining her Yoga Teacher diploma from the Fédération Nationale de Yoga (FNEY) in 2012, she has continued her research at the Académie du Yoga de l'Energie (AYE) in Paris and at the Union Nationale du Yoga (UNY). She is a graduate of the Institut d'Energétique et Acupuncture Traditionnelle Chinoise (IEATC-Paris). Since January 2018, she has been an Instructor for the IEATC-Switzerland School.
